High school reunion? Last minute big event? Whatever the case, you HAVE to lose 10 pounds…FAST!

DRINK MORE WATER – It is very important that you do not drink your calories. Stay away from juices, alcohol and sodas. Drink at least a gallon of water with lemon a day. Lemon water has amazing health benefits and can help aid in getting those last few stubborn pounds off.

LIMIT CARBS – Carbs break down into sugar if they are not burned off with exercise and we all know sugar can contribute to weight gain. Limit the number of carbs and eat more protein and fat while you are trying to get those last few pounds off.
EAT BREAKFAST – It’s like beating a dead horse right? How many times have you heard, “You have to eat breakfast if you want to lose weight?” It’s true! Breakfast sets the tone for the rest of the day. It helps you not overeat and snack on unhealthy foods throughout the day. Be your breakfast is healthy filling and full of protein and fat. Watch those carbs!
SNACK IF YOU ARE HUNGRY – It’s ok to snack! If you find yourself hungry in between meals, find healthy foods to snack on such as nuts, cheese, boiled eggs and zero calorie vegetables.
GET TO STEPPING – Go for a stroll, run in place, do jumping jacks! As long as you move for at least 30 minutes a day. If you are able, (with permission from your doctor) shoot for an hour a day to speed up the progress!
