If you enjoy a carb heavy diet most of the time, eliminating carbs will be a shock to your system. Introducing the ‘keto flu’ or ‘carb flu’. The keto flu happens when you drastically reduce your carb intake too quickly. Symptoms can include:

In order to help minimize this, you should aim to up your fat intake for a few days.

LIMIT EXERCISE FOR A FEW DAYS
When you begin the keto diet, you may feel sluggish and weak for a few days until your body adjusts to burning fat for fuel instead of carbs. If you still feel like you want to get physical, opt for low-intensity exercises such as yoga and short strolls.
If you are anything like me, you start the day off following your diet to the T, then somewhere between lunch and dinner, everything goes south. You are off of work and probably starving and the McDonalds arch on your way home doesn’t help matters!
If you prepare your snacks in addition to your meals, McDonald’s no longer looks that tempting!

You must get proper sleep in order to lose weight. While 7-8 hours was the rule in the past, it is now said that if you can manage to get in 6-7 hours of good sleep, you increase your chances of losing those stubborn pounds.
