I love to sprinkle those smelly good deodorizers on my carpet because I think they make your home smell amazing! But what I don’t like are those commercial deodorizers that are full of strange, hard-to-pronounce and downright scary words! A quick Google search of some of those ingredients was enough to make me steer clear of them altogether!
So on my mission to go a little greener, I decided to experiment with some recipes for natural deodorizers. And I’ll be darned if I came up with about 5 of them but the one below is my absolute favorite!
It is super simple to make and fairly inexpensive to make with ingredients you may already have in your pantry.
Why spend $4-$5 on the toxic stuff when you can make your own at a fraction of the cost!
Natural Carpet Deodorizer
2 cups of baking soda
10 -15 drops of your favorite essential oil
Fill a mason jar with the baking soda, add essential oil and shake well.
That’s it! A chemical free, natural carpet deodorizer for less than what you would pay for a commercial brand!
Doesn’t that make you feel all gooood and healthy inside???
